The objective of this interior design project was to transform the rather outdated and traditional appearance of the four villas in a single complex, including Villa SKY, into a more modern, vibrant, and attractive option for short-term rentals in Bali.
The villa complex was named 4S, with each villa's visual concept centered around one of the four elements: SUN, SEA, SKY, and SAND. The villas were designed in a modern style and feature authentic interior pieces sourced from Balinese workshops and artists.
Villa SKY offers a bright and comfortable open living room with rattan furniture, a bedroom with sliding doors that lead to a wooden terrace by the pool, and a bathroom equipped with a rain shower, two sinks, mirrors, and a collection of ceramic accessories and live plants designed by an artist.
To execute the villa designs in this complex, we had to visit most of Bali's markets and craft workshops since it is almost impossible to have furniture items made on order due to the island's specific. Instead, the items from the in-stock inventory had to be carefully selected to achieve the desired interior design results.
