Interior Design: Tatyana Minina

The objective of this interior design project was to create a comfortable living space for a young girl who studies at university and spends a lot of time learning at home.

To support the client's lifestyle, a dedicated study room was featured in the interior layout that can also serve as a guest room. As the client enjoys cooking, the kitchen was designed as a part of the living room to avoid being isolated during meal preparation. Additionally, as formal dining was not a preference, a bar counter was incorporated instead of a dining table. To cater to the young generation's love of movies, a large modular sofa was chosen, allowing the living room to be transformed into a cozy movie-watching area.

The design brief specified a dark color scheme, predominantly in shades of gray. This unusual request from the young lady was artfully fulfilled: the high ceilings allowed us to employ our favorite technique of painting the walls and ceiling in one color with adding a decorative texture.
