Veshki

House, 2011

Interior Design: Tatyana Minina, Ekaterina Alekseeva
Photography: Alexander Kamachkin
This interior design project for a house in affluent suburbs of Moscow incorporates ethnic elements into its fusion style. The complexity of the parquet pattern, which uses five different types of wood, serves as the foundation for the overall design concept. This unique flooring brings a sense of warmth and texture to the space.

To complement the parquet, the house features furniture and lighting pieces that were sourced from Bali. These unique items contrast with the more traditional elements of the house, and contribute to its overall flow and aesthetic.
